The story of Angel David Bonilla

David is a talented young Dominican kiter with an interesting story. As a baby he was severely burned, and barely survived.
He was put into a coma and had over 40 surgeries. Life hasn't been easy for him.

But then he got the chance to learn to kitesurf.
In the past 4 years he has grown enormously, even with ongoing recovery from the surgeries in the meantime.
His mindset is impressive and inspiring.

Ventum and Kite Buen Hombre have joined forces to support David on his journey to realize his dream to compete against the best people in the sport.

With this documentary, created by Edwin Haighton, we will search partners that are inspired by his story and want to support David to make his dream come true.
For this he needs to train and improve his skills in rougher conditions which are not found in the Dominican Republic.

With help of partners we hope to provide the conditions for David to chase his dream.
