Takoon Wing - Erfahrungen?

Review Takoon after about 20 sessions Note 1: I use a Axis foil, most of the time with a 90 cm pole, a 64 cm fuselage, a front wing 900 or 1000, a rear wing 400. I'm 80 kg and 173 cm Note 2: I want to thank Vincent for allowing me to test the material (including Go-pro max and the OneR! ) Wings: Overall, they are very well balanced. This means the wing follows the movement of arms and responds with power. It speeds up in gusts without losing balance or turning down, overall, it is a very comfortable wing that gets speed and also a very good wind. About its quality / durability, I had a few hard falls and some good bowls in the kiter and everything went well. I may have been lucky too 🤣. # In any case between the first session and now the wings haven't moved (it's not mine but test wings that I borrow, so they're used by other than me). What I really like about this wing is how fast it reacts and pivot in the jibes. This is especially visible by light wind when precision is necessary to prevent the wing from falling during maneuvers when there is not enough visible wind to carry it. In addition, I played in small waves and waves in Downwind and was able to feel the real potential for surfing: the wing stays where I want it to be. Even the biggest sizes (6 and 7) are very easy and enjoyable to play. I still have to be more careful on 7 to avoid touching the water with my ear, after using smaller wings, but it's easy to get used to it. Boards: I tried the Comet 5'4 and 5'0. I really like both, but my favorite is 5'4. With my weight / skills, it's super easy to get started. Between 5'4 and 5'0 I like 5'4 better for now because I spend less energy to get up after a fall: the board carries me better and is more stable. So I don't hesitate to try new hacks and transitions. With smaller boards, I get tired very quickly if I hit the falls. Also, I don't live in a very windy area, so I ride most of the time in 10-20 knots, and not very often at more than 20 knots. I like the way the bridge is designed (wide and flat). I ride mainly without strap, which leaves me a lot of space to put my feet. It forgives placement errors. I also tried the 5'4 in SUP foil and it works great. However, as much as it's a very easy board for the wing foil, but in SUPfoil it's more like a board for the very good ones. To do both disciplines the 5'10 or 6 ' may be more suitable for middle levels in in In summary: Wings / boards are very pleasant for freeride, the small wave, which is my priority, and certainly also a great potential for the most radical, but I don't have the level yet! Quick comparison with other wings: The Ozone Wasp has its own character and it's a wing I love. Both ozone and Takoon are of excellent quality. The ozone has been criticized for its soft handles, but on my side they never gave me a problem. Takoon has bigger handles, which can bring extra control by very light wind. the handles I prefer are F-one, but I regret F-one's choice to have reduced the number of handles. On Takoon, Ozone, I use the same handles 90 % of the time. When I use other handles, it's because I really need them (to recover from a bad transition, or to relax my arms by changing the positions of my hands). I think (and it seems to be confirmed by other people who have tried) that the behavior of Takoon is closer to F-one than to ozone. I loved the F-one when I tried it but it was a long time ago, so I can't give a good F-one vs Takoon comparison. Ozone vs Takoon I would say that the ozone gets its full power faster, and the Takoon is more progressive, the power is more proportional to how we border. I love both, it's more about getting used to one or the other than a matter of performance. Like I said, I haven't tried F-one enough for a good comparison, but I have a feeling that the Takoon is a kind of F-one and ozone (more handles and less large ). None of these wings have windows, I recently tried a wing with windows and this may help a little to see, but because of the latte in the middle and relatively small windows, I always needed to lift the wing to see anyway what's under the wind, so I finally don't believe windows make a big difference. A few months ago I said my top 3 was (without specific order) F-one, Ozone and Slingshot. Finally I never had the opportunity to fly the Slingshot, I still think it's a cool wing, and the V2 looks great but I avoid talking about too many things I don't know. My new top 3 is now (without specific order) Takoon, F-one, Ozone |

Wattsup Wings Up 6.2. |

Takoon Wing C7 in 4m² Erfahrungsbericht
Zitat:
