Salamansa Capo Verde (um die Weihnachtszeit) - Tipps?

Hallo,
war jemand von euch schon mal da und hat einige Tipps für mich. Wir wollen um die Weihnachtszeit fahren und sind noch etwas unsicher/Hamata oder Salamansa/???
Hotels etc.

Hi Wolfgang,

Salamansa is still a place for pioneers. When it's busy, there are 4 kiters on the water. We have not had many German visitors so you may not get many reactions.

Sao Vicente is a world class kitesurf destination in Cape Verde for kitesurfers of all levels except those that still need to learn to water-start (there are only 2 small areas with flat water).

Compared to the mass-tourism places Sal and Boa Vista, Sao Vicente offers much more adventure and exclusivity with:

• More space on the water (max ever recorded in big bay of Salamansa was 10 kiters)
• More variety of spots with different water conditions in a small geographic area
• Slightly more wind (1-2 knots more) with a longer season (mid-October – end June)
• Spectacular nature (especially if combined with Santo Antao)
• Much more do and to see
• An authentic, unspoilt Cape Verdian culture with a lively city (Mindelo)
• No big hotels , mostly boutique recidentials and holiday homes

We had many folks ask us to help with finding flights. Finding flights from Germany, Austria and Switzerland has been especially problematic .
As a result, we created our own database with all convenient flights to Sao Vicente. Convenient means a max. of 2 connections and no long connections times (certainly not overnight) and the same for the return flight.
