Da bei meiner Naish Bar das QR defekt ist, wollte ich gleich mal als Einstieg /Anfang in das Thema, kurzes QR das AKA2 Kite attitude bestellen. Jetzt sehe ich die unten stehenden Sicherheitshinweise.
Wie ist das denn bei Naish und den anderen Marken? Sollte da auch jährlich oder früher, der Chicken Loop und weitere Teile gewechselt werden?

The NF S-52 503 French Afnor regulation says that you must replace the chicken loop/quick releaser every year, and more often in case of intensive use.

Regarding the AKA QR: you don't need to replace all parts every year (every 2 or 3 years is ok), but you must at least replace the chicken loop tube and rope inside the chicken loop every year, and more often in case of intensive use.

Reasons: the rope inside the chicken loop tube is made of dyneema, sustaining 800 kg. It is doubled. But the rubbing generated by the harness buckle will tend to be abrasive and wear the rope out in the long run. The wear will happen even quicker if you are heavy (more than 85 kg, plus your gear and board...), if you jump often, tend to ride with big kites in strong conditions, ride with foil kites (especially big foil kites), ride in tropical conditions and/or ride with a Engine harness (that will concentrate the wear on a single point). So the chicken loop rope and the chicken loop tube must be considered as wear parts, such as car tires, because the chicken loop rope will concentrate all the power of the kite permanently (!). If you kite once a week or more, then this should be considered as intensive use, especially if you are heavy, jump high, ride in strong winds, ride in very hot or very cold conditions and/or ride with foil kites. So you must replace the chicken loop every 6 months or even sooner. Your safety is important, especially if you are a hydrofoiler riding miles away from shore...
