Yesterday 7 kiters where resqued on de Slufter in stong NW winds. Many kiters were kiting there despite the offshore winds, strong currunts, big waves and forecasted thunderstorms.
Locals reported that almost all kiters on the water where Germans. With so many good onshore spots a few minutes away, why the risk of kiting there?
This location is already at risk of closing for good. So thanks to all kiters ignoring common sense and giving the authorities extra ammunition to close it down.
