WHAT DOES IT DO FOR YOU?
• If your Ventum product is stolen or lost, you can indicate this in your account. Anyone who purchases a product second-hand, or finds a product received a message that it concerns a missing product when they scan the tag. The platform takes care of the communication so that you can get your product back. Of course, you can still put your number directly on your board / kite / bar and that still makes more sense for many people, but the tag is not only intended for this.
• Boards are currently not insured for loss in The Netherlands, if there is an NFC tag in it, a board may be insured in the future with one of the insurers with which booomtag is currently in discussion. Hopefully this will get more and more spread also in other countries.
• Your product is provided with your data ... .. but these are NOT visible by others. In other words, others cannot get your name, number or address by reading your tag. There are situations and professions where that may be preffered.
• You can (if desired) show ICE (in case or emergency) numbers when someone reads the tag.
• If you give permission, you will receive push notifications regarding recalls or other information regarding the safety of your product.
• If you give permission for this, you will receive offers aimed at your product and situation. For example, your bar is 2 years old, check if your lines are still in good condition. You can purchase a new line set with an extra discount.
• If you give permission, you will receive information about upcoming upgrades or replacement offers.
• The platform is still in its early stages, there will be more applications in the future. Maybe think of session logging etc.

WHAT DOES IT DO FOR VENTUM?
• Ventum does not send newsletters, but in this way, if you give permission, it can send very specific information about your products and situation.
• Ventum has a much better overview of where the products are used (read / registered).
• Ventum can see who the new owner is of the gear when you resell it (they can create a free account and the current owner passes the gear to the other person).
• Ventum can pass on safety information in a very targeted manner if there is a problem.
